Spanish politician and public worker.

Son of Ventura de Egea Fiol and María Gallar Jesce. During his first years in the Administration he was an official in the General Direction of Supplies of Rosellón's campaign, and later, he filled the vacancy for the Contaduría general de propios y arbitrios of Murcia. He worked in the Secretary of Administration in Valencia, and when the Peninsular War began, he was the principal accountant of Income. Moreover, he was temporarily in charge of the Administration on several occasions. He was the spokesperson and the secretary of the Junta Principal de Contribuciones y Estadística in Valencia.

During the presidence of Eusebio Bardají, he was named director of Contribuciones Directas, and in the government of Evaristo San Miguel, he was Minister of Finances. With the restoration of absolutism, he went into exile in France and he returned to Spain in the last years of Ferdinand VII's ruling. Subsequently, he returned to work as State's adviser, and he was appointed general director of Rentas Estancadas. During the government of Istúriz, he was the Minister of Finance again, and in 1837, he was appointed senator. He was president of the Public Treasury Council, secretary of His Majesty with Royal Decree, and he was decorated with the Knight Grand Cross of the Royal American Order of Isabella the Catholic.
