History:

Spanish agricultural engineer and legionary.

Knight of Real Maestranza of Zaragoza and the Order of Malta. He is a descendant of the family Medina Silona, his parents were Isidro Benítez Sidón and María de la Paz de Butrón Mújica y Dorronzoro. In 1956 he was appointed first class head of the Agricultural Service of Zaragoza. He was an expert in heraldic research and famous surnames, consequently, he published in 1948 "El linaje aragonés de los Pemán y sus enlaces" in the magazine Hispania, the 32nd edition of the Spanish magazine of history of the Jerónimo Zurita Institute of CSIC. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Hermandad Provincial de Antiguos Caballeros Legionarios of Zaragoza. Due to his economical support and management of the brotherhood, they were able to build a monument in Zaragoza in memory of the dead legionaries.
