Spanish archivist-librarian, Latin teacher, historian and translator.
Civil servant of the Cuerpo Facultativo de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos through an exam from the 23 July 1915.
At the beginning of the Civil War, he was destined to the Bibilioteca of the Law Faculty of Madrid's Central University. Between 1938 and 1939, he did the Memoria de las Bibliotecas Populares Circulates de distritos de Madrid. Assistant Librarian of Latin in the Philosophy and Letters Faculty of Madrid. Finished the purification file, he asked to re-enter the Body.
Interim director of the Biblioteca of Madrid's Universidad Complutense between 1942-1943. Vice-secretary of the Colegio de Doctores y Secretarios. Between 1949 and 1955, he was in charge of the Biblioteca of the Real Academia de la Lengua (RAE).
Moreover, he was Latinist, Horacio's translator, Latin language teacher of Instituto, historian of the Jovellanos library, etc.
