Spanish archivist-librarian, high school teacher and local historian.
Born in Cuenca in 1868, he completed his secondary education at the Instituto de Cuenca. He earned the title of Archivero Bibliotecario at the Escuela Superior de Diplomática and entered the Corps of Specialist Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologists through public examination on May 10, 1889. Initially assigned to the National Library of Spain in Madrid, he later returned to his hometown to continue his work.
At the onset of the Spanish Civil War, he was assigned to the Archivo de la Delegación de Hacienda in Cuenca and the Biblioteca Pública in Cuenca. Following the conflict, and after being purged without sanction, he requested his reinstatement in the Corps.
He served as secretary of the Comisión de Monumentos Históricos y Artísticos de Cuenca and was a corresponding academician of the Real Academia de la Historia (RAH). Additionally, he taught at the Instituto de Cuenca. He is the author of the work "El Fuero Municipal de Cuenca y sus reformas".
