Spanish archivist-librarian.
Born in Calzada de Valdunciel (Salamanca) in 1881. Licensed in Philosophy and Letters, History Section, by Madrid's Central University.
Civil servant of the Cuerpo Facultativo de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos from 28 July 1911. He served in the Biblioteca Pública of Cáceres, to then pass to the Archivo de Hacienda of Salamanca, and from there, to the Archivo y Biblioteca of Salamanca's University. He worked in this last destination from 1915 until his retirement in 1951, being director from 1929.
At the beginning of the Civil War, he was still destined in Salamanca's University, and was purified in virtue of the Decreto N.º 66 of 10 November 1936. He continued in the service with no administrative sanction.
Author of the work: "Catálogo de los incunables existentes en la Biblioteca Universitaria de Salamanca". He did a donation to the university Biblioteca of Salamanca in October 1941.
