History:

Pianist and teacher who developed his activity in Argentina.

He was student of Rafael González in Buenos Aires. He studied in the Escuela de Artes of the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba. He was a teacher in the Conservatorio Provincial de Música "Félix Garzón" of Córdoba (Argentina), and among his students were Irene Timacheff and Esther Amblard. He directed the conservatory between 1957 and 1973.

As piano accompanist, he performed with the soprano Berta Soriano in the Teatro Rivera Indarte of Córdoba, in October 1956, where they presented for the first time in South America "Doce canciones populares españolas" by Joaquín Rodrigo. The Next year, they interpreted them again in the tribute Concert to Federico Coto. He sent Manuel de Falla a visit card. He had correspondence with the musicologist José Subirá. On 14 November 1979, in the Museum Manuel de Falla of Alta Gracia (Córdoba, Argentina), he performed in the piano "La victoire de Guernica" (1937), poem by Paul Éluard, translated by Juan Larrea, with music by Georges Auric, in the 33rd anniversary of Falla's death.
