Spanish civil servant.
He was born in Cáceres in June 1889, son of Ramón Parés Olivet and Encarnación Ramos Muñoz, and brother of Antonio and Araceli.
He was a member of the. Corps of Specialist Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologists. He was affiliated with the Unión Republicana de Madrid in 1932 and the Sindicato de Archiveros de Madrid, linked to the UGT. He was a member of Freemasonry, belonging to the Logia Ibérica and the Logia Jovellanos.
He married Ángeles Cueli Noriega, sister of Manuela, Nicolás, and Pilar Cueli Noriega.
After the Spanish Civil War, he went into exile in France and lived in Paris with his wife and his sister-in-law Manuela. He arrived at the port of Veracruz on April 21, 1939, aboard the steamship Flandre. There he received help from the JARE. In Mexico, he worked as an administrator and accountant at the Instituto Luis Vives. He passed away in the Mexican capital on April 28, 1943. In Spain, he was charged by the TERMC and condemned in absentia to 20 years and one day of minor detention and perpetual absolute disqualification. He passed away in Mexico City in 1973.
