History:
Spanish historian, archivist-librarian and professor.
He obtained his doctorate by Madrid's Central University in 1955 with a thesis about El consulado de Burgos en el siglo XVI.
He was professor in Deusto's University, and municipal archivist-librarian of Bilbao.
Director of the Archivo y Biblioteca Municipales of Bilbao, assistant Teacher of the Professorship of Economic History of the Economic Sciences' Faculty of Bilbao's University, teacher of the Philosophy and Letters Faculty of Deusto's University. He created the Archivo Histórico and Biblioteca Municipal established in the building of "El Sitio".
