Spanish politician and professor. He got married to Marcelina López de Cerain. He started his academic training (Latin and Philosophy) at Agustinos de Ágreda School (Soria) followed by the Seminar of Tarazona. In 1825, he was awarded the Baccalaureate in Theology and Canons Studies by the University of Zaragoza and he became Professor by the University of Alcalá in 1832.
From his academic career it is important to highlight that he gave lectures in Latin language and he was a professor owner of the Canonical Institutions at the University of Alcalá. In addition, he was a Rector from the San Felipe and Santiago School. He was a professor of the Canonical Institutions at the Universidad de Madrid and, professor of General Discipline of the Church and Specific from Spain. Moreover, he was Vice Rector and Chair of the Finance Board’s University.
Political positions:
Representative at Courts during several terms, Minister of Grace and Justice (1854-1855), president of the Revolutionary Senior Board of 1868 and, president of the Supreme Court (1868-1869)
