Spanish Law professor. He was the son of Lorenzo Aramburur and Margarita Arregui. He was married to Josefa Zuloga y Madariaga and they both were the parents of the professor Félix de Aramburu y Zuluaga.

He started his academic training studying grammar and other subjects at the public classes in the city of Oviedo. He studied seven years of Laws and Canons and he was awarded the degree and doctorate at the University of Oviedo.

His academic career was centred at the University of Oviedo and it outstood that he was substitute for several chairs available in the Civil Institutions, Supply Professor in the fifth academic year of Jurisprudence and Spanish Civil Canons. In 1848 he was appointed professor owner of the Chair of Spanish Civil, Commercial and Criminal Law. He was transferred to Commercial and Criminal Law in 1858 and he was designated dean and vice rector at the Faculty of Law some years later.

He held other position such as:

Lawyer at Oviedo’s Bar Association.

Supply secretary at the Faculty of Jurisprudence.
