Spanish jurist and professor. Son of the professor Domingo Aramburu y Arregui and of Josefa Zuloaga y Madariaga. Married with Elisa Díaz.

He began his academic education in 1862 with the high school of arts at the High School of Oviedo. At the University of Oviedo he extended his studies with the bachelor of Philosophy and the bachelor of Jurisprudence. In 1862 he enrolled at the Faculty of Law of the same university. He obtained the doctorate from the Central University.

His academic career stands out because he was an assistant professor at the University of Oviedo. In 1876 he was named professor of Extension of Civil Law and Spanish Codes by the University of Santiago de Compostela. At the University of Oviedo she was named professor of History and Elements of Roman Law, professor of Spanish Corporate and Criminal Law and professor of Criminal Law. Moreover, he was named Rector of the University of Oviedo. In 1906 he received the chair of Superior Studies of Criminal Law and Criminal Anthropology from the Central University of Madrid.

Another positions he held were:

Judge of the Supreme Court of Justice.

Member of the Local Board of First Lesson, of the Provincial Board of Charity, of the Dispute-Tribunal and of the Provincial Breeders Association.

Representative of the Legal Congress of Barcelona.

Academician of Jurisprudence of Oviedo, of the Matritense of Jurisprudence and Legislation, of the Real of Moral and Political Sciences and Fine Arts of San Salvador (Oviedo).

Vice president of the Economic Society of Friends of the Country.

Member of the International Union of Criminal Law.

Chosen senator by the senate of the University of Oviedo.
