Spanish professor. He was the son of Eufrasio Bonilla y Bonilla and Teresa Marín Munoz, and he got married to Gertrudis Cañadas y Bueno.
He started his academic training in 1904 studying the baccalaureate in the High School of Alicante and he started a degree on Philosophy and Literature at the University of Seville but, he studied the whole degree between Madrid, Granada and Seville. He was awarded a degree on Law at the University of Granada (he studied the degree in Granada and Madrid), and he was awarded a doctorate at the Universidad Central in Madrid. He received a scholarship by the Committee of Extension of Studies.
He started his academic career being an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law in Zaragoza, swapping to the University of Seville. He was appointed professor of Spanish Civil, Common and Regional Law at the University of Santiago. He was transferred to the Chair of Judicial Proceedings and Forensic Practise in the Faculty of Law at the University of Granada and he was sanctioned in 1937.
After the Spanish Civil War he was exiled in Mexico, where he received the support of the Assistance Board for Spanish Republicans (JARE). When he arrived to Mexico he got incorporated to the Institute Juan Ruiz de Alarcón and, later on, he collaborated with the Commission of Studies for the Presidency of the Republic. In addition, he began to work with the Universidad Nacional Autónoma in Mexico.
