Judge from the Supreme Court of Justice, deputy and professor of Spanish Criminal Law. He was born in Córdoba and he died in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz). He was the son of Federico Castejón y León and María Dolores Martínez de Arizala y Villa. He got married to Concepción Chacón de la Aldea.
He started his academic training studying the baccalaureate at the Technical Institute of Córdoba. He then got the degree on Law at the University of Seville and he was awarded a doctorate at the Universidad Central in Madrid. Moreover, he got a scholarship from the Council of Extension of Studies for his stay in Paris and Rome and thanks to it he was able to work at the University of Rome. In addition, the Faculty of Law of Seville gave him a grant to study in Paris.
He started his academic training being an assistant professor at the Universities of Seville and Zaragoza.
It was at the latest university where he received the chair of Criminal Law and he also was a lecturer of Criminal Sociology and Statistics at the Criminology School of Madrid, as well as professor at the Universidad María Cristina from the order of St. Augustine of El Escorial.
He was sanctioned in 1940 and he also carried out the following activities:

He was part of the Secretary from the United Nations in matters of Prevention of Crimes and Treatment of Offenders.
