Spanish Law professor, deputy, senator, lawyer and minister. He was the son of José Coronado and María Josefa Parada. He was married to María de la Presentación Sánchez Merino and they were the parents of two girls: Carolina and Nieves.

He started his academic training at the School Santa Catalina de Cuenca at the Council Seminary from the same city and at the Council Seminary of San Julián in Alcalá de Henares.

He continued his studies at the University of Alcalá studying Jurisprudence. He moved to the Faculty of Madrid where he was awarded a degree on Laws and a doctorate. His academic career was focused on the University of Madrid where he started as a substitute lecturer of chair and supply professor on jurisprudence and philosophy at the University of Madrid. He was appointed professor in 1861.

He held other positions:

Lawyer at the National Courts and the Bar Association from Madrid.

Member of the Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation of Madrid.

Provincial Deputy of Madrid and deputy in the Spanish parliament by the province of Cuenca.

Last Minister of Justice of the Queen Isabel II. He went to the exile in 1868 for three years.

Senator by the province of Cuenca.
