Spanish historian, philosopher and professor. He was born in Leon and died in Madrid. He was the son of Vicente Díez Canseco and Caralina Berjón y Garrido.
He started his academic training studying the baccalaureate at the Institute of Leon. He was awarded a degree on Law and a doctorate by the Universidad Central in Madrid. He extended his studies and moved to Berlin, Leipzig, Bonn and Halle.
He started his academic career as a professor of Natural Law at the University of Valladolid, where he was vice rector too. He was transferred to the Universidad Central in Madrid with the chair of History of Spanish Law.
He carried out other activities such as:
Write in the magazine La Lectura.
Director of the Annual Magazine of History of Spanish Law.
Counselor of Public Education.
He collaborated writing the Statute of the University of Madrid.
He belonged to the National Consultative Assembly.
