He was a Spanish professor of Law who was born in Madrid. He married María Josefa Fernández de Heredia y Deiró, with whom he had ten children. He passed away in Madrid.
He studied the baccalaureate at the Senior High School of San Isidro in Madrid and he graduated in Law at the Universidad de Sevilla in 1931, obtaining the doctorate at the Universidad Central de Madrid. He also graduated in Philosophy and Humanities.
Professor of History of Law of the Universidad de Sevilla in 1940. Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law of the said university in 1942. Rector between 1954 and 1956. He moved to the Universidad de Madrid to the same chair in 1964. He combined the teaching at the Universidad Complutense and at the Colegio San Pablo CEU. He retired in 1981. A sanction expedient was opened but he was not sanctioned or dismissed due to his right-wing tendencies.
