History:

Muriel Eldridge was born on November 29, 1920, in Los Angeles, California, named Muriel Friedman. She is the sister of Maurice Wolf Friedman, one of the volunteers who fought in the Lincoln-Washington Battalion of the 15th International Brigade as Private. When she was 19 she married with Richard Eldridge. She is the one who wrote the bibliographic sketch of Maurice Friedman Wolf for the Veterans of Abraham Lincoln Battalion (VALB). She died on July 10, 2001.
