Spanish politician and noble. VIII Viscount of Eza. He belonged to the conservative party and he was deputy and Mayor of Madrid. Luis Marichalar y Monreal was Minister for War and for Development during the reign of Alfonso XIII. He was the son of Amalio Rufino Marichalar y San Clemente, VIII Marquis of Montesa, and María Cecilia Monreal y Ortiz de Zárate.
