Spanish teacher and math specialist that exiled in Mexico, son of Silvestre Santaló Parvorell and Consol Sors Llach, and nephew of Miquel Santaló Parvorell. His brother Luis Antonio also worked with mathematics.
He started studying Exact Sciences in Madrid and carried out a PhD. He worked as astronomer in the Royal Observatory of Madrid and was teacher in the International School of Madrid, the High School of Gerona and the "Escuela de Aviación".
He exiled in Mexico on board "Sinaia" ship and the Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) designated him teacher in the Luis Vives High School, mixing it with his job in other Spanish refugees schools. He was also teacher in the National Preparatory High School.
His good reputation increased with congresses and bibliographic news, thus being designated in 1957 Chief of Science and Technology Department of the Organization of American States (OAS), and the UNESCO given him the task to study the teaching method of Mathematics and Cosmology in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Paraguay.
