History:

British diplomatic and soldier at the service of Spain. He was born in Wootton Rivers (England). He was married with Josefa de Anduaga y Cuenca. He was designated secretary in the Spanish Legation in Sweden (1783), and later in Prussia (1786) and Paris (1799). Besides, he became captain of the Regiment of Hibernia of the Spanish army. He was secretary (1813) and business agent (1818-1815) in London. He later was plenipotentiary minister in Lucca and Florence (1818-1822) and in the Holy See (1824-1826), where he died.
