History:

Spanish entrepreneur, businessman and politician. He graduated in Law from the University of Zaragoza. He also studied Business Administration at the Industrial Organization School of Madrid. Alcón worked in his family's business afterwards, founding the authorise dealer of the well-known track brand "Pegaso" in Ávila, at the beginning of the 60's. Between 1970 and 1979, he headed the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ávila, the Spanish Association of Pegaso's Authorise Dealers and the National Federation of Automotive Distributors, between 1980 and 1987. Being Adolfo Suárez his close friend, Alcón was elected a deputy of UCD in the 1977 general elections. In the I Legislature, he was a deputy as well. Later on, he was the national responsible of the CDS organisation (1986-1990). During the IV Legislature, he won a senatorial seat for Ávila. Finally, he dead in 2016 in Madrid.
