Spanish archivist-librarian.
Born in Castellón, son of Luis Parral Cristóbal and Emilia Blesa Margen; brother of María Luisa.
He obtained his Ph.D. in Philosophy and Letters at the Universidad Central de Madrid with the thesis: "La poesía horaciana. Influencia de su lírica en las literaturas neolatinas y principalmente en la española". He worked as an assistant professor in the division of Letters at the Instituto Cardenal Cisneros in Madrid.
On July 28, 1911, he entered the Corps of Specialist Archivists, Librarians and Archaeologist through public examination and was first assigned to the Archivo de Hacienda in Bilbao. In 1913, he began working in the Sección de Archivos of the Spanish Ministry of Public Instruction and Fine Arts. He was librarian of the Biblioteca del Museo de Ciencias Naturales (Madrid) from 1930.
After the war, he requested reinstatement into the Corps and, from 1939 onward, held a position at the Biblioteca del Jardín Botánico. Between 1941 and 1949, he continued his work as librarian at the Biblioteca de la Escuela de Veterinaria de Madrid. He was also the author of "Compendio de Gramática Española". He passed away in Madrid in 1949, at the age of 66.
