Spanish archivist, librarian an teacher.
Born in Villalobar (león) in 1876. Licensed in Philosophy and Letters, and in Law.
Civil servant of the Cuerpo Facultativo de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos from 1904. He was destined to the Archivo de la Delegación de Hacienda of Lugo, and from there, he went to the Biblioteca Universitaria de Santiago de Compostela the following year.
At the beginning of the Civil War, he still worked in the Biblioteca Universitaria de Santiago de Compostela, as director. Finished the war, he was purified with no sanction, and continued in the active service in the same destine until his retirement.
He was also associate professor of Instituto. He retired, at the age of 70, on 2 April 1946.
