Francisco Zapata Castañeda was a doctor. He founded the Sevilla F.C. together with his brothers. He played for the team as a centre-forward at the beginning of the century. Later, he became the doctor that survived the Príncipe de Asturias ocean liner's sinking. He emigrated to Mexico together with his wife in the 1920s.
