History:

Jean-Claude Carrière is a French writer, scriptwriter and film actor. Carrière is one of the greatest French surrealists. He worked sometimes with Luis Buñuel, and was awarded with the Order of Arts and Letters of Spain in 2011. Among his most outstanding scripts are: "Cyrano de Bergerac" (1990), "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" (1988) and "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" (1972).
