Spanish theologian, as well as pontifical diplomat. PhD in Theology at the University of Alcalá. The Cardinal Cisneros requested his collaboration to write the Polyglot Bible due to Diego's command of the classic languages, Hebrew and Aramaic. Also known for his disagreements with Erasmus of Rotterdam.
