Spanish librarian.
Daughter of Lucas Calvo Díez and of María de las Nieves Alonso-Cortés; sister of Antonio Calvo Alonso-Cortés.
Licensed in Philosophy and Letters by Valladolid's University. Member of the Cuerpo Facultativo de Archiveros, Bibliotecarios y Arqueólogos from 18 August 1972. She was destined to the Biblioteca and Archivo Histórico Provincial de Mahón (Balears).
She was Director of the Biblioteca Pública del Estado in Guadalajara between 1981, and until her retirement in 2013. Vice-president of ANABAD.
She also had a politic activity, being councillor of the Ayuntamiento de Guadalajara between 1987 and 1999. Moreover, between 2005 and 2007, she was Culture advisor of Castilla-La Mancha, being autonomic president José María Barreda.
