The 150th International Brigade, also known as Dabrowski or Dombrowski Brigade was a military unit that served in the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. The brigade was formed in June 1937 on the basis of the Dabrowski Battalion from the 11th Brigade. It was composed mostly by Poles but there was also a battalion composed by Spanish and a Hungarian section. After the outbreak of the hostilities in Spain against the Republic, in Poland, as in other Western countries, a movement of solidarity with the Spanish Republic has been organized and a small number of Poles decided to go to Spain to fight as volunteers serving the Republic despite the hostility of the Polish government. The first group arrived in August 1936 to Barcelona and formed the Machine-Gun Dabrowski Unit which was integrated in the Commune de Paris Company. It went to fight in the Aragon front until October 24, 1936, when the International Brigades were established, they settled in Albacete where they formed the Dabrowski Battalion. In the early months of the 1937, it participated in numerous operations. On May 27, 1937, the new Brigade Dabrowski, officially the 150th International Brigades of the Popular Army of the Republic, was formed from the former Polish Dabrowski Battalion, and made up by the Franco-Belgian André Marty Battalion and the Hungarian Rakosi Battalion. And later, to cover losses from the Huesca Offensive, the new Polish-Spanish José Palafox Battalion was integrated. In July, it participated in the Battle of Brunete with around 1,910 troops within its 4 battalions. However, it did not have a good performance in the fighting and suffered heavy casualties. Being very battered at the end of the operations in that area, on August 4, the Brigade was disbanded and its battalions distributed among other units of the International Brigades, especially to the 13th Brigade, where were sent most of the former battalions.
