She was a Spanish archivist and she studied Philosophy and Literature, specializing in History, at the University of Madrid (1930-1931). She was a grant holder of the Medieval History Seminar at the Center for Historical Studies between 1932 and 1936.
She was the president of the Instituto de Estudios Madrileños and the director, during 8 years, of the Archivo General de la Administración General de la Administración de Alcalá de Henares.
She worked as professor and she taught Conservation (buildings and facilities, restoration and reprography) in the Archive Organization and Administration courses of the Organization of American States (OAS).
