Buen Lladó, Maricel de (1932-)

Mexican plastic artist. Daughter of the Spanish exiles Eliseo de Buen and Carmen Lladó, and sister of Nuria. Once the Spanish War had ended, she went into exile with her family arriving in La Habana in 1942. From there, they went to Mexico (1951). She became a Mexican citizen and lived in Mexico City.
She is a Pharmaceutical Chemist and Biologist studying for a Master's degree in drug control at the Faculty of Chemistry of the UNAM in Mexico. In addition, she studied Visual Arts at the National School of Plastic Arts at UNAM. She has presented several exhibitions, both individual and collective. She is a partner and member of the Board of Directors of SOMAAP.
