Warner Bros Entertainment, Inc. is a cinema, music and television production company founded in 1923 in the USA.
It includes countless companies within the big Warner Bros company. The studio was founded by 4 Warner brothers, from whom it had the name Warners Pittsburgh in 1904. It was in 1923 when it changed the name to the one it is known for now. The first big production was the Rin Tin Tin saga. As time passed, they gained a good reputation in the filming of movies. They slowly created a great empire by purchasing other lower companies and became one of the promoters of Technicolor movies like "The show of shows" (1929), "Bright Lights" (1930) or "Golden Dawn" (1930). Even though, after these movies, they found themselves in a moment of uncertainty and possible bankruptcy that was solved by the movie "42nd Street" (1933). Until 1967, the company was managed by some of the Warner brothers, with more or less popularity. A great push on the show business was when they purchased in the neinties the copyright of the J. K. Rowling's novels "Harry Potter", becoming one of the most successful sagas of history and thus re-establishing the company and turning it into a pioneer with more than 5000 millions of profits in 2013. It is also worth saying that the company is the creator of popular characters like the Looney Tunes (Bugs Bunny, Duffy Duck, Tweety, etc), and also has the rights of DC comics, that includes famous superheroes like Batman and Superman.
Nowadays, it is one of the most important and innovating companies.
